Purchase Executive

• Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Vendor ManagementSource and procure construction materials as per project requirements

• Develop and maintain approved vendor lists
• Obtain and compare quotations (minimum 3 vendors)
• Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track order status

• 2. Site Coordination & Material PlanningCoordinate with project managers, site engineers, and storekeepers
• Ensure timely material availability at site to avoid work delays
• Monitor material consumption vs BOQ
• Plan bulk purchases and just-in-time deliveries

• 3. Cost Control & Budget AdherenceEnsure purchases are within approved budgets
• Support cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality
• Track price trends and recommend alternate materials or vendors

• 4. Documentation & ComplianceMaintain purchase records: POs, invoices, delivery challans
• Ensure vendor invoices match PO terms
• Coordinate with accounts team for timely payments
• Ensure GST compliance on purchase bills

• 5. Inventory & Store Management SupportMonitor stock levels and avoid over-stocking or shortages
• Coordinate inward material inspection and quality checks
• Support material reconciliation and audits
