Job Description

. Purchasing Officer

  • Job Title: Purchasing Officer
  • Reporting to: Purchasing Supervisor
  • Location: Company Office
  • Working Hours & Shifts: Regular office hours (Monday to Saturday, per company policy)
  • Salary Range: Negotiable based on skills and experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for purchasing raw materials, equipment, office supplies, etc., required by the company.
  • Conduct market research and supplier price comparisons based on departmental requests, and select suitable suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain a list of qualified suppliers, and regularly evaluate supplier performance.
  • Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs), ensure accurate and complete order information, and perform monthly reconciliation with suppliers.
  • Track order progress, ensure on-time delivery of materials or services, and handle delivery delays or quality issues.
  • Maintain purchasing records and files, and regularly prepare purchasing reports for management review.
  • Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers, including prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Assist relevant departments in handling returns, exchanges, or claims.
  • Possess basic English reading and writing skills to handle English documents and email correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • College/University degree or above; a major in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields is highly preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related roles is preferred.
  • Familiar with procurement processes and supplier management.
  • Basic commercial negotiation and communication skills.
  • Honest and upright, with a strong sense of cost awareness and responsibility.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Good numerical analysis and price comparison capabilities.
  • Basic English reading and writing skills, capable of processing English quotations and emails.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Proactive, able to work independently, and a good team player.
