Position Summary

The Quality Engineer (Agriculture/Farm/horticulture/manufacturing Industry / Agricultural Equipment , Auto Industry) is responsible for ensuring all incoming international/domestic agricultural equipment / products meet company quality standards, safety regulations, and technical specifications before entering inventory. This role involves proactive supplier quality management, inspection of imported materials, and coordinating corrective actions to minimize defects and compliance risks. Should handle Purchase & pre-dispatch orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Incoming Inspection : Perform thorough inspections (visual, functional, dimensional) on incoming imported shipments to verify compliance with Purchase Orders (PO) and Quality Assurance Plans (QAP).
• Supplier Compliance & Auditing: Evaluate foreign/Domestic supplier quality systems, monitor supplier performance, and conduct remote or on-site audits to ensure adherence to standards (All safety standards).
• Documentation Review: Review and verify vendor Material Test Certificates (MTC), Certificates of Analysis (COA), and packing lists to ensure accuracy.
• Defect Management & CAPA: Identify root causes of defects, document non-conformances, and lead Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports to resolve issues with suppliers.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all imported products meet local legal, safety, and labeling requirements before clearance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless import processes.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly quality reports, audit findings, and product compliance data for management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably in an import/export environment or international/National sourcing.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of sampling methods and industry-specific testing (e.g., Agriculture/Farm Equipment's depending on product).
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs, and compliance standards.
• Software Skills: Proficiency MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for vendor communication and report generation.
• Education: Any Graduation, Preferred in Agriculture/Farm/Horticulture or a related field.
