About the Role
Sutrverse is an AI-native vertical SaaS platform designed to help event venues streamline their daily operations, manage leads, and drive higher conversion rates. It functions as a dedicated operating system tailored specifically to modernize venue management and scale business growth. We are looking for a driven, field-ready Relationship Manager to be the face of our company in Bangalore.
This isn't just a standard sales job—it’s an end-to-end ownership role. You will act as a hybrid "hunter" and "farmer": bringing new venues onto the platform, ensuring their teams actually use the software, building deep relationships with owners, and growing the account over time.
What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
1. Business Development (The Hunter)
- Identify & Pitch: Scout and map target venues across Bangalore. Run cold visits, pitch our platform to venue owners/managers, and handle objections.
- Demo & Close: Conduct high-impact, in-person product demos. Clearly communicate value propositions (efficiency, higher conversion, better management) and close the deal.
2. Onboarding & Adoption (The Farmer)
- Drive Usage: A signed contract is just step one. You will train the venue staff on how to use the software and ensure it becomes a daily habit.
- Manage Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for the venue owner. Conduct regular check-ins (physical and virtual) to gather feedback and build rapport.
3. Retention & Churn Prevention
- Monitor Health: Keep a close eye on product usage metrics. If a venue stops logging in, you are the first responder to figure out why and fix it.
- Solve Problems: Proactively identify roadblocks the venue might be facing with the software and liaise with our product team to resolve them.
4. Upselling & Expansion
- Grow the Account: Once a venue is successfully seeing ROI, identify opportunities to upsell premium features, add-ons, or expand the software to other venues within their portfolio.
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in B2B field sales, account management, or business development. (Experience selling to hospitality, venues, or restaurants is a massive plus).
- Language Skills: Fluent in English. Conversational Kannada is highly preferred to connect with local venue owners.
- Mobility: Owning a two-wheeler/bike is mandatory for this role to efficiently navigate daily field visits across Bangalore.
- Hustle & Grit: You are highly comfortable spending a majority of your week on the field, navigating Bangalore, and waiting in lobbies to get face time with decision-makers.
- Tech-Savvy: You can quickly learn new software, run smooth digital demos, and explain tech concepts simply to non-technical users.
- Empathy + Target-Driven: You genuinely care about helping your clients succeed, but you also have a strong appetite for hitting quotas and earning commissions.
