Restaurant Manager

Mela Fine Foods is a premium brand of carnival foods launched to standardize taste and hygiene of street side paniopuri in India.

We are looking for a hustler, a self starter who can wear multiple hats and help build the category with creative story telling and unlock growth for our brand through handling our KITCHEN OPERATIONS AND ONLINE STORE VIA THE CENTRAL KITCHEN ( SWIGGY AND ZOMATO)

Key responsibilities Include Managing , setting up and reviewing of all processes requiring PROCUREMENT AND DELIVERY of panipuri on counters ( for FOCO franchisees) .Developing and executing processes for QC, channel and distribution of our food to multiple locations.

Ensuring standards are adhered to for quality and hygiene. Team building for both offline and online . Staffing for counters and kitchen staff.

Develop strategies for optimising kitchen costs . Finding new vendors for ensuring the right pricing and quality for ingredients.

Researching ways to increase sales through swiggy and zomato.

Ensuring the kitchen staff is trained for the online experience and taking customer feedback. Managing the online stores for swiggy and zomato

You are someone ...From a reputed institute, preferably but not necessarily an MBA / post grad from hospitality backgroundHave a minimum 5 years of hands on experience driving business growth , handling P&L and or running own food brands / restaurants .

A self starter, with a fiercely entrepreneurial mindset and a love for streetside panipuri.

A chef ( preferred but not necessary ) who has run his own food brand preferred .

A naturaL LOVE FOR NORTH INDIAN panipuri , street side chaats

Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work cohesively with other kitchen staff and vendors, and manage a team with respect.

Have excellent visual, verbal and written communication and a keen eye for design.
