Retail Sales Executive

Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Counter Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in saree sales, a strong understanding of different saree materials, and saree folding/presentation skills. You will play a crucial role in assisting walk-in customers, showcasing sarees, helping with selection, and providing an exceptional in-store experience.

• Key Responsibilities:Greet and assist walk-in customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Understand customer needs and suggest suitable sarees based on fabric, occasion, and style preferences.
• Demonstrate sarees effectively with proper draping/folding techniques.
• Maintain a neat and well-organized saree display at the counter.
• Ensure proper handling and folding of sarees after customer trials.
• Build product knowledge across silk, cotton, georgette, chiffon, Banarasi, designer sarees, etc.
• Generate sales and meet monthly targets.
• Handle billing or support the cashier as required.
• Update inventory and assist in stock checking as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the counter area.
• Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Required Skills & Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of experience in saree or ethnic wear retail.
• Strong knowledge of various saree fabrics and materials.
• Excellent saree folding and presentation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales-driven mindset with a customer-first attitude.
• Basic understanding of billing and POS (optional but preferred).
• Fluency in Kannada and Hindi is preferred. English is a plus.
