Retail Sales Executive

Job Summary:The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and ensuring the retail floor is well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing. The role involves assisting customers, managing product displays, and maintaining inventory standards in a fast-paced hypermarket environment.

• Key Responsibilities:Greet customers and assist them in finding products and making purchase decisions.
• Maintain product knowledge to provide accurate information about prices, promotions, and product features.
• Ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and replenished regularly.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to the supervisor or inventory team.
• Process customer transactions efficiently using POS systems.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints professionally.
• Support promotional activities and in-store merchandising as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards on the sales floor.
• Meet or exceed daily and monthly sales targets.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve overall store performance goals.
• Qualifications & Skills:High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred for senior roles).
• 1–3 years of experience in retail, preferably in a hypermarket or large-format store.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused attitude with a positive and proactive approach.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise.
