Retail Sales Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Executive to join our furniture showroom in Bangalore. The role involves assisting customers, understanding their requirements, recommending suitable furniture solutions, and closing sales while delivering an excellent in-store experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom
• Understand customer needs related to home/office furniture
• Explain product features, materials, dimensions, pricing, and warranty
• Recommend suitable furniture based on customer space, budget, and style
• Achieve individual and store sales targets
• Handle billing, orders, and basic POS operations
• Coordinate with the warehouse and delivery team for order fulfillment
• Maintain showroom cleanliness, product displays, and visual merchandising
• Handle customer queries, follow-ups, and after-sales coordination
• Keep track of stock availability and report low inventory

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (English + Kannada preferred)
• Customer-oriented and sales-driven mindset
• Basic computer knowledge and POS billing
• Ability to explain products confidently and patiently
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Willingness to work on weekends and retail shifts

Preferred Experience

• Experience in furniture, home décor, interiors, or retail sales is an advantage
• Knowledge of furniture materials (wood, plywood, laminates, upholstery) is a plus
