Retail Store Manager

Job Summary:

To manage overall showroom operations with respect to customer service, store target achievement, maintaining the retail standards, inventory management, stock control, and store-level staffing, and achieve business targets.

Major Area of Work:

Customer Service || Business Improvement || Target Achievement & Sales Performance.

Stock Control || Manage the overall business of the store || Team Development.

Micro Level Store Responsibilities:

• Complete responsibility to achieve the target of the showroom and report to higher authorities on day-to-day basis.
• Store Manager / ASM should be able to handle overall Store Operations from opening to closing the store.
• To build, develop, and motivate the team to meet and exceed target expectations.
• Develop business strategies to raise our customer pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Should be able to control a team of ASM, Cashier, Billing Staff & Sales Executives.
• Need to send the MIS report on a daily and monthly basis.
• Need to check the cash and daybook daily.
• Training of Store Staffs in terms of Personal Grooming, Product Knowledge, SOP’s & Customer Service.
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• He/she will be responsible for driving the store sales team as per the company's KRA & KPI.
• Conduct periodic review meetings within the team for the smooth functioning of operations.
• Conduct Daily Prayers / Meeting and highlight the best and worst scenarios of the previous day to groom the team.
• Appreciate the best employee or team for their performance of the previous day at the time of the meeting.
• Ability to drive the sales team to achieve the targets.
• To analyse each product category and stock in counters to ensure maximum sales.
• Ensure to give adequate facilities and services for customers and store employees.
• To maintain the store's cleanliness, standards, and store ambience as per the company standard’s.
• Ensure that the store functions as per the Standard Operating Procedures of the company.
• Will be responsible for resolving Customer complaints & grievances and product-related queries.
• Deal with all showroom issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc..)
• Strong in Inventory Management for proper replenishment of required stocks and plans to increase stock during local festivals and wedding dates.
• Responsible for minimizing the Shrinkage, Stock Damage, and pilferage.
• Responsible for maintaining the showroom's Visual Merchandising standards.
• Primarily responsible for maintain stock cover days , control aging stock, focus to sell last bit fabric, 3S,4S products.
• Manager/ASM must coordinate with the vendors/warehouse for timely replenishment of stocks and stock enquiries.
• Ensure to deposit/settle the sale cash to the banker by the next working day on or before 11 AM every day.
• Keep the showroom accounting books updated and give a proper explanation to the Internal Auditors.
• Responsible for New Product promotions, Gift Vouchers promotions etc.
• Must manage the store employees' Leave/Absenteeism/Retention/Recruiting Season staff for festival sales.
• Conduct performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths for the sales staff.
