Position Overview

We are seeking a Construction Site Safety Officer with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in building construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, implementing safety programs, and maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on site.

Note: This role is open to male candidates only as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national safety regulations.
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to workers and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to enforce safety standards.
• Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and monitor adherence to safety protocols.
• Liaise with external agencies and regulatory bodies during inspections or audits.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in Industrial Safety / Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management within building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Certification in safety management
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Physically fit and able to work on active construction sites.
