Job Description

We are looking for a field-focused Sales Associate to drive sales and distribution for fresh produce and daily-need products across retail partners. This role is ideal for someone with prior exposure to fresh produce, fruits & vegetables, flowers, or FMCG distribution, who is comfortable with on-ground execution and target-driven sales.

You will be responsible for acquiring and managing retail and institutional customers, ensuring consistent order flow, and acting as the primary point of contact between customers and operations.


Key Responsibilities


Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify, onboard, and manage retail customers such as local stores, vendors, and institutional buyers through regular field visits and follow-ups.

Sales Target Execution

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets with a strong focus on repeat orders and account growth.

Lead Generation & Onboarding

  • Source new leads through field activity, referrals, and local market mapping. Support onboarding and basic product/process orientation for new customers.

Product & Pricing Communication

  • Clearly communicate product availability, pricing, seasonality, and delivery timelines to customers.

Order Coordination

  • Ensure smooth order placement, coordination with supply/delivery teams, and timely resolution of customer issues.

Sales Reporting & CRM Updates

  • Maintain accurate sales records, customer data, and daily activity reports.

Market Intelligence

  • Track local competition, pricing trends, demand patterns, and customer feedback to support business decisions.

Campaign & On-Ground Support

  • Support local promotions, seasonal demand spikes, and on-ground sales initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum education: High School / 12th pass
  • 2–4 years of experience in field sales, preferably in:
  • Fresh produce (fruits, vegetables, flowers)
  • FMCG distribution
  • Retail or B2B sales


Key Skills

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Target-driven, self-motivated, and accountable
  • Basic comfort with MS Office / simple CRM tools
  • Willingness to work extensively on-field
  • Two-wheeler preferred for local travel

Preferred Background

  • Experience with fresh produce, perishable goods, or agri supply chains
  • Exposure to quick commerce, retail distribution, or local vendor networks
  • Familiarity with handling daily-order, high-frequency SKUs
