Sales Counselor

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Customer Engagement & Needs Assessment

• Greet and engage prospective customers or clients
• Ask questions to understand needs, preferences, and budgets
• Provide consultative guidance rather than aggressive selling

2. Product or Service Presentation

• Explain features, benefits, and pricing clearly
• Tailor presentations to individual customer needs
• Conduct tours, demos, or presentations when applicable

3. Lead Management & Follow-Up

• Respond to inquiries (calls, emails, walk-ins, online leads)
• Track leads in CRM systems
• Follow up consistently to nurture prospects toward a decision

4. Sales Process Management

• Guide customers through the full sales cycle
• Handle objections and address concerns professionally
• Assist with applications, contracts, or paperwork

5. Relationship Building

• Build trust and long-term relationships
• Maintain a customer-first mindset
• Encourage referrals and repeat business

6. Closing Sales

• Present offers and promotions
• Negotiate within company guidelines
• Secure commitments and finalize sales

7. Collaboration & Reporting

• Work with marketing, operations, or management teams
• Provide sales reports, forecasts, and feedback
• Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs

8. Compliance & Ethics

• Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and regulations
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
