Sales Executive

Role OverviewWe are looking for a Business Development Executive (BDE) who will drive new customer acquisition for Digitory by reaching out to restaurants, booking demos, following up, and closing deals. This role requires strong communication, field hustle, and the ability to build trust with restaurant owners and decision-makers.

• Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and approach potential customers (restaurants, cafés, pubs, cloud kitchens, chains)
• Generate leads through field visits, calls, references, and online research
• Pitch Digitory products and book product demos with decision-makers
• Conduct product demos (with support from product team if needed)
• Follow up with prospects and manage the full sales cycle till closure
• Understand restaurant pain points and recommend the right Digitory modules
• Maintain CRM updates: leads, follow-ups, status, notes, next steps
• Coordinate with onboarding/support teams for smooth handover after closure
• Meet monthly targets for demos, conversions, and revenue
• Required SkillsGood communication skills in English + local language (Hindi/Kannada/Telugu preferred)
• Confidence to speak to restaurant owners and managers
• Strong follow-up discipline and ability to handle objections
• Basic understanding of software/SaaS selling (POS/restaurant tech is a plus)
• Comfortable with field work + phone selling
• Basic Excel/Google Sheets and CRM usage
