Job Description

Key Responsibilities


1. Lead Generation & Prospecting


Identify and engage potential clients (B2C or B2B: gyms, wellness centres, corporates, etc.) through digital channels, events, partnerships, and referral programmes.


Leverage social media, fitness communities, and CRM tools to build a healthy pipeline.


2. Customer Discovery & Engagement


Understand prospects’ fitness goals, preferences, and challenges through consultative conversations.


Deliver tailored product/service recommendations (e.g., memberships, training programmes, fitness equipment, and corporate wellness packages).


3. Sales Demonstrations & Presentations


Conduct virtual or in-person demos, club tours, or product walk-throughs highlighting benefits and USPs.


Use storytelling and real success cases to connect emotionally with customers.


4. Deal Closure & Negotiation


Manage end-to-end sales cycles from pricing discussion to contract finalisation.


Ensure win-win deals that maximise client satisfaction and business value.


5. Relationship Management


Build long-term relationships with individual clients and B2B partners.


Upsell/cross-sell new services such as personal training, recovery products, or nutrition plans.


6. Pipeline & CRM Management


Use CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Mindbody) to log interactions, manage leads, and monitor KPIs.


Optimise the sales funnel by identifying and addressing drop-off points.


7. Market & Competitor Insights


Stay updated on fitness trends (e.g., wearable tech, hybrid fitness, wellness bundles).


Monitor competitors and adjust outreach tactics accordingly.


8. Performance Reporting & Feedback


Share weekly/monthly reports on sales performance, lead quality, and conversion rates.


Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and offers.


Required Skills & Attributes


Fitness Industry Passion: Deep interest in health, wellness, or fitness trends.


Excellent Communication: Clear, energetic, and persuasive verbal and written skills.


Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to build trust, listen actively, and offer meaningful solutions.


Sales Expertise: Proven track record in closing deals and achieving sales targets.


Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools, social media, and sales automation platforms.


Analytical Mindset: Capable of interpreting customer data and market insights to inform strategy.


Self-Motivation: Driven, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-evolving fitness market.


Preferred Experience


1–3 years in fitness, wellness, health-tech, or subscription-based sales roles


Familiarity with fitness SaaS platforms, studio/gym membership sales, or B2B wellness solutions
