Sales & Marketing Executive

Job roles in a tiles showroom, such as in Bangalore, generally focus on retail sales, customer service, and showroom management, with many positions requiring experience in ceramics, sanitary ware, or building materials. 

Key Job Roles & Responsibilities

·        Showroom Sales: Assists walk-in customers, explains product features (granite, marble, tiles), prepares quotations, and closes sales.

·        Sales Coordination: Supports the sales team by managing orders, coordinating with suppliers (e.g., in Morbi) for inventory, and tracking deliveries.

·        Showroom Management: Oversees daily operations, drives sales targets, manages staff, and ensures the showroom display is maintained.

·        Billing: Manages invoices, computer billing, and basic Tally/GST work.

·        Field Sales: Visits construction sites, architects, and designers to generate B2B sales. 

Skills and Requirements

·        Experience: Usually 0–1 years in tiles, ceramics, or building materials sales. Freshers are also accepted for this roles.

·        Languages: Proficiency in local languages (e.g., Kannada, Hindi, English in Bangalore) is often mandatory.

·        Communication: Good negotiation and convincing skills are essential.

·        Technical Knowledge: Understanding of tile types (vitrified, ceramic), applications, and basic measurements. 

Salary and Benefits (Bengaluru Focus)

·        Salary: Generally ranges from ₹10,000 to ₹15,000+ per month, depending on experience and role.

·        Incentives: Performance-based incentives are common, especially for sales executives.
