Job Description: Field Sales Representative (Home Furnishings)

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Field Sales Representative to join our home furnishing team. You will be responsible for visiting clients' homes or offices, showcasing our premium collections, and providing expert advice to help them transform their spaces.

This is a high-impact role where your ability to visualize design, take accurate measurements, and negotiate effectively will directly drive company growth.

Key Responsibilities

On-Site Consultations: Travel to customer locations to present fabric swatches, wallpaper catalogues, and product samples.

Precise Measurement: Take exact physical measurements for various furnishing needs (e.g., window dimensions for curtains/blinds, floor area for carpets, or wall dimensions for wallpapers).

Design Advisory: Assist customers in choosing colors, textures, and patterns that complement their existing interior décor.

Sales Pitch & Conversion: Explain the quality, durability, and maintenance of materials to convince customers of the value.

Negotiation & Closing: Provide on-the-spot quotations, handle price objections skillfully, and close the sale with a commitment or advance payment.

Coordination: Share accurate measurements and client requirements with the production/installation team to ensure error-free delivery.

Requirements & Skills

Travel & Mobility: Must own a two-wheeler (bike) and be ready to travel extensively within the city.

Physical Capability: Ready to carry heavy catalogues and sample kits to every site visit.

Technical Accuracy: High proficiency in using measuring tapes and laser distance meters. A "measure twice, cut once" mindset is essential.

Communication: Fluent in the local language and English/Hindi to build rapport with diverse clients.

Sales Acumen: Proven experience in negotiation and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Professionalism: Punctual, well-groomed, and capable of representing a premium brand in clients' homes.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in home décor, interior design sales, or construction materials.

Basic understanding of interior design principles and color theory.

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Design is a plus).
