🎯 Role Overview – Sales Supervisor

As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for driving performance across the telesales team.


Your role is not just to monitor numbers, but to coach, optimise, and enable the team to convert better, ensuring every customer interaction reflects clarity, trust, and value.


You’ll act as the bridge between sales, operations, and customer experience, ensuring consistency and accountability across the funnel.


🔑 Key Responsibilities


📊 Team Performance Management

  • Monitor daily sales performance, conversions, and key metrics
  • Identify gaps in performance and take corrective actions
  • Set targets and ensure consistent achievement across the team


📈 Lead Monitoring & Conversion

  • TrackingTrack lead movement from inquiry to closure across all channels (calls, chat, demos)
  • Identify bottlenecks in the funnel and take action to improve conversion rates
  • Ensure no lead is missed, delayed, or left unattended
  • Assign incoming leads to telesales executives based on availability, performance, and priority
  • Monitor lead status across the funnel to ensure timely follow-ups and minimal drop-offs
  • Reassign unworked or stalled leads to maximise conversion opportunities
  • Ensure high-intent leads are prioritised and handled by top performers 
  • Actively identify inactive or ageing leads and reallocate them for recovery
  • Implement systems to revive cold or dropped leads
  • Maintain accountability within the team for lead handling and closure timelines


📈 Incentives & Reporting

  • Track individual and team incentives accurately
  • Maintain dashboards and reports for leadership visibility
  • Analyse trends to improve conversion rates and efficiency


🧠 Coaching & Enablement

  • Train and mentor telesales executives on pitch, objection handling, and product clarity
  • Ensure the team clearly communicates the brand benefits and produt details
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions and performance reviews


🕒 Roster & Workforce Planning

  • Create and manage team rosters to ensure optimal coverage
  • Plan shifts based on peak inquiry hours and campaign activity
  • Ensure productivity without overloading the team


⚙️ Process & CRM Discipline

  • Ensure proper usage of CRM tools for tracking leads and follow-ups
  • Improve workflows to reduce drop-offs and missed opportunities
  • Work closely with tech and ops teams to streamline processes


🤝 Cross-functional Coordination

  • Align with marketing on lead quality and campaigns
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth post-sale experience
  • Flag recurring customer concerns and suggest improvements


✅ Desired Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in telesales / inside sales / sales team management
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to read and act on data
  • Comfortable with CRM tools, dashboards, and reporting systems
  • Excellent communication skills (English required; regional languages are a plus)
  • Proven ability to coach and improve team performance
  • Highly organised with strong ownership and accountability
