Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports/statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Manage the budgeting process, including planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas of improvement.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff; provide training and support as needed.
  • Manage cash flow, banking, and investment activities.
  • Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
  • Assist in financial planning and strategy with senior management.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA) is an advantage.
  • Proven work experience (5+ years) as an Accounts Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
