Role SummaryThe Business Development Senior Manager – Medical Devices will be responsible for driving revenue growth, defining and executing sales strategy, managing key hospital and institutional accounts, and leading the sales team. This role requires strong leadership, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to build long-term relationships with healthcare stakeholders across Karnataka.



Qualifications·      Bachelor’s degree in Science / Engineering / Biomedical

·      MBA (Marketing preferred)

·      Candidates must have experience in the medical devices / medical equipment domain



Experience·      8–15 years of experience in medical equipment or healthcare sales

·      Minimum 5 years in a senior managerial or leadership role

·      Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets



Preferred Requirements·      Experience handling large hospital chains and institutional clients

·      Exposure to government tenders and procurement processes

·      Strong professional network within the healthcare and medical equipment industry

·      Willingness to travel extensively across Karnataka

Key Responsibilities·      Identify and develop new business opportunities across hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and healthcare institutions

·      Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, purchase departments, hospital management, and distributors

·      Develop and implement sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue targets

·      Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and close deals effectively

·      Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market strategies

·      Coordinate with internal teams for order execution, installation, and service support

·      Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team

·      Participate in product launches, demonstrations, trade shows, exhibitions, and training programs

·      Prepare and present monthly and quarterly sales performance reports to senior management

·      Ensure achievement of defined KPIs and sales targets

·      Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales pipeline, and leads using CRM tools
