Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Equity Dealer to manage client trades in the equity and derivatives market. The candidate will be responsible for executing orders, providing market insights, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth trading operations. In addition, the role involves client acquisition, AUM growth, and cross-selling wealth products. The ideal candidate should have strong market knowledge, quick decision-making ability, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Execution

Execute client orders in Equity, Futures & Options (F&O), and Currency markets accurately and efficiently.

Monitor live market movements and assist clients with trade execution.

Ensure timely order placement and trade confirmation.

Client Relationship Management

Handle trading queries from retail, HNI, and active trading clients.

Provide real-time market updates, technical levels, and trading ideas.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to increase trading activity and retention.

AUM Growth & Client Acquisition

Acquire new trading and investment clients through references, networking, and internal leads.

Build and grow Assets Under Management (AUM) by offering suitable investment solutions.

Develop long-term relationships with HNI and active trading clients.

TPP (Third Party Products) Sales

Cross-sell wealth management products such as:

Mutual Funds

Insurance

Bonds / Fixed Income Products

PMS / AIF

Identify client investment needs and recommend appropriate financial products.

Market Monitoring

Track market trends, global news, and economic events impacting markets.

Provide clients with insights on equity markets, sectors, and trading opportunities.

Monitor client portfolios and provide risk management guidance.

Compliance & Risk Management

Follow exchange regulations and internal compliance policies.

Ensure proper documentation and KYC compliance.

Monitor margins, exposure limits, and client risk.

Team Support

Guide junior dealers and support trading desk operations.

Coordinate with Relationship Managers and Sales teams for client servicing and business development.

Candidate Requirements

Education

Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Business, or related field.

NISM VIII (Equity Derivatives) certification Mandatory.

Experience

3 – 6+ years of experience in the equity dealing / stock broking industry.

Experience handling active traders, HNI clients, and advisory support.

Skills

Strong knowledge of Equity, Derivatives, and Capital Markets.

Familiarity with trading terminals like ODIN, NOW, NEST, or similar platforms.

Strong client acquisition and relationship management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment.
