Senior Interior Designer

Role Overview

A Senior Interior Designer leads the design process for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects. They combine creativity with technical expertise, oversee project timelines, and collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Leadership

Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and space plans

Ensure designs align with client vision, budget, and brand identity

Select materials, furniture, lighting, and color schemes

2. Project Management

Lead multiple projects from concept to completion

Create project timelines and manage budgets

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants

Client Interaction

Meet with clients to understand requirements and preferences

Present proposals and revisions

Maintain strong client relationships

Team Supervision

Mentor and guide junior designers and interns

Review drawings, layouts, and design deliverables

Delegate tasks effectively

Technical Expertise

Produce detailed drawings, 3D models, and specifications

Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations

Work with tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max

Site Coordination

Conduct site visits and supervise installations

Resolve on-site design challenges

Ensure design intent is executed accurately
