Senior Interior Designer – Job Description (Key Responsibilities & Expectations)

• Lead end-to-end interior design projects from concept development to final execution and handover
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, space planning, and detailed layouts aligned with client requirements
• Prepare and review 2D drawings, 3D designs, working drawings, and BOQs for accuracy and execution feasibility
• Coordinate with clients for design presentations, approvals, and timely design closures
• Oversee material selection, finishes, and vendor coordination to ensure design intent is maintained
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and execution teams for seamless implementation
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure quality standards
• Manage timelines, design deliverables, and ensure projects are completed within the schedule
• Handle client escalations, provide design solutions, and maintain strong client relationships
• Guide and mentor junior designers, ensuring design consistency and team productivity
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies to bring innovative solutions
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company processes
• Coordinate with external consultants (lighting, HVAC, MEP) for integrated design solutions
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and approvals throughout the project lifecycle
