Senior Purchase Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Executive with a strong background in IT hardware and touch screen kiosk manufacturing. The role requires end-to-end ownership of procurement activities, strategic vendor management, cost optimization, and close coordination with finance for accounting, taxation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, negotiation expertise, and the ability to support manufacturing scale and project-based procurement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement & Vendor Leadership

• Lead procurement for IT hardware, electronic components, touch screens, displays, enclosures, peripherals, and mechanical parts
• Develop long-term vendor strategies, including supplier evaluation, onboarding, and performance management
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, credit terms, and SLAs to achieve cost optimization and supply reliability
• Identify alternate suppliers to reduce risk and dependency

Manufacturing & Project Support

• Work closely with production, engineering, and project teams to forecast material requirements and timelines
• Manage BOM-based purchasing for standard and customized kiosk manufacturing
• Ensure uninterrupted material flow for ongoing production and large-scale deployments
• Support new product development through early vendor involvement and cost analysis

Accounting, Cost Control & Compliance

• Oversee invoice verification against POs, GRNs, and contracts
• Coordinate with finance/accounts for timely payments, reconciliations, and ledger accuracy
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, input tax credit, and statutory requirements
• Prepare and review purchase MIS reports, cost variance analysis, and budget utilization
• Support internal and statutory audits related to procurement and inventory

Inventory & Process Optimization

• Monitor inventory levels, slow-moving stock, and material aging
• Implement procurement best practices to improve efficiency, transparency, and cost control
• Drive process improvements within procurement and inventory management systems (ERP)
• Mentor junior purchase executives and ensure adherence to procurement SOPs

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in IT hardware, electronics, or kiosk manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, IT peripherals, and manufacturing supply chains
• Sound understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, invoicing, and reconciliation
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, MS Excel, and accounting software
• Proven negotiation skills and experience managing high-value vendors

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to import/export procurement and customs documentation
• Experience in project-based manufacturing or system integration
• Leadership experience managing vendors or small procurement teams
