Senior Software Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Developer who will be responsible for leading technical development and designing scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure software applications

* Lead backend development and system architecture decisions

* Review code, ensure best practices, and improve overall code quality

* Mentor and guide the Full-Stack Developer on technical implementation

* Collaborate with management to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

* Optimize application performance, database queries, and system reliability

* Handle API integrations, third-party services, and data security

* Manage deployment, version control, and production issues

* Ensure proper documentation and adherence to development standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

* Strong experience in Backend Development (Node.js / Java / Python – based on current stack)

* Good understanding of Frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React – review level)

* Database expertise: MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB

* Strong knowledge of REST APIs, authentication, and authorisation

* Experience with Git / Version Control Systems

* Understanding of server deployment, cloud basics, and CI/CD

* Knowledge of performance optimisation and security best practices. Preferred Skills

* Experience working in small teams or growing organisations

* Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

* Prior experience mentoring developers

* Knowledge of Agile / Scrum development processes
