Service Advisor

An Automotive Service Advisor is the main contact for customers needing car service. They listen to customer issues, explain required work, provide estimates, and ensure a smooth experience between the customer and our service technicians.

Core Duties

·        Greet Customers: Welcome clients and accurately note their vehicle problems.

·        Explain Services: Clearly describe needed repairs and maintenance, including costs, and get customer approval.

·        Coordinate: Act as the link between the customer and the technicians performing the work.

·        Update Clients: Keep customers informed about their vehicle's status and any delays.

·        Process Payments: Handle billing and explain invoices.

·        Ensure Satisfaction: Follow up with customers to guarantee they are happy with the service.

Requirements

·        Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a service advisor or technician in a car repair setting.

·        Car Knowledge: A strong understanding of vehicles, repairs, and maintenance.

·        Communication: Excellent people skills, empathy, and clear communication abilities.

·        Systems: Familiarity with dealership software (DMS/CRM).

·        License: A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

·        Education: High school diploma (degree in automotive field is a bonus).
