Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and assess vehicle issues.
- Provide customers with a detailed explanation of recommended services and associated costs.
- Schedule service appointments and ensure efficient time management.
- Coordinate with the technicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and appropriate repair services.
- Review customer vehicles to identify additional service needs and communicate recommendations.
- Provide customers with regular updates on the status of their vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, vehicle issues, and services provided.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Process repair orders and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized service desk and work area.
- Ensure that customers’ vehicles are serviced within the promised time frame.
- Promote and upsell additional services or products, as needed.
- Process warranty and insurance claims as necessary.
- Monitor and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, following up on completed services.
- Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate’s or bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Customer Service Representative, or in a related field in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and services.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using service management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
