Service Engineer - AUDIO VIDEO

Job Overview:

As a Service Engineer specializing in audio and video products (e.g., Logitech, HP Poly), you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting AV systems, including video conferencing solutions, audio systems, and integrated collaboration technologies. You will work closely with clients, IT teams, and vendors to ensure seamless operation and quality service delivery. This role requires both technical expertise in AV hardware/software and strong customer-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure AV equipment including cameras, microphones, conference systems, displays, and related peripherals.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on AV systems, hardware, and network-related integration issues.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and optimize system performance 2.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, troubleshooting complex audio/video issues effectively 1.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and vendor teams to improve system functionality and implement upgrades 1.
• Document service actions including installation reports, issue resolutions, and preventive maintenance activities 2.
• Train end-users and staff on equipment operation, best practices, and troubleshooting basics 

Required Qualifications:

• Degree/ Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related engineering field; relevant certifications in AV technology (e.g., AVIXA CTS) preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in AV system installation, maintenance, or customer support, preferably with Logitech, HP Poly, or similar enterprise AV hardware 
• Proficiency with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco, Polycom) and networked AV devices.
• Strong understanding of AV system design, troubleshooting, and integration with IT networks.
• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and AV wiring diagrams.
