Location: KR Puram / Hoodi, Bengaluru

Position: Service Manager

Reports to: General Manager / Dealer Principal

Role OverviewThe Service Manager is responsible for managing the overall service operations of the workshop, ensuring high customer satisfaction, achieving service revenue targets, maintaining productivity, and complying with company and OEM standards.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesOversee end-to-end service operations including workshop, technicians, advisors, and support staff
  • Ensure achievement of service revenue, productivity, and profitability targets
  • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction (CSI) and handle escalations effectively
  • Ensure adherence to OEM processes, safety standards, and quality norms
  • Plan and control manpower, technician efficiency, and job card flow
  • Monitor spare parts consumption and coordinate with Parts department
  • Conduct daily review meetings with service advisors and team leads
  • Analyze service KPIs, MIS reports, and take corrective actions
  • Drive customer retention, repeat business, and value-added services
  • Ensure proper training and skill development of service staff
  • Maintain discipline, attendance, and overall team performance
  • Desired Candidate ProfileGraduate / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in automobile service operations
  • At least 3–5 years experience as Service Manager / Assistant Service Manager
  • Strong knowledge of workshop operations, diagnostics, and customer handling
  • Experience with authorized dealership (Mahindra experience preferred)
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and service-related MIS reporting
