Shift Incharge

We are seeking a Shift Engineer with a Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering to manage shift, planning execution, managing abnormality handling, in process. Hourly recording of process, managing shift operators. Work in three rotational shifts.

Job Profile: Shift Engineer (Mechanical/Metallurgy)

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Ensure all machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely during the shift.
• Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical faults, material failures, or processing issues quickly.
• Quality & Process Control: Monitor metal quality, heat treatment processes, and casting soundness (if metallurgy-focused).
• Team Leadership: Oversee technicians and mechanics on shift.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and shift activities.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety protocols. 

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of machine operations, material properties, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Preferred Background: Experience in manufacturing, foundry, automotive, or heavy engineering industries.
