Site Civil Engineer & Site Safety Officer

We are looking for an experienced Site Civil Engineer & Site Safety Officer to manage day-to-day site activities for our Commercial & Residential projects. The candidate should be able to handle civil, finishing, and coordination work independently.

Site Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

• Supervise site execution as per drawings and project schedule.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients for daily work progress.
• Ensure quality, safety, and material management at site.
• Maintain site reports, measurement sheets, and billing documentation.
• Monitor labor productivity and ensure timely completion of work.
• Support project manager in planning and reporting.

Site Health and Safety Officer Duties and Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing health and safety policies in accordance with latest regulations.
• Conducting regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
• Leading in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks.
• Keeping records of inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements.
• Keeping up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employer’s industry.
• Attending seminars and meetings to learn about new policies and practices.
• Ensuring the safe installation of equipment.
• Managing equipment inspections and maintenance activities
• Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site.
• Liaising with law enforcement and other investigators who are present at the time of a serious accident.
• Finding the best way to prevent future accidents.
• Reviewing and updating emergency procedures.
• Advising on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.
