Role OverviewThe Site Manager – Interiors will take complete ownership of interior project execution at site level — ensuring proper planning, scheduling, material management, coordination, and quality delivery as per project timelines and client expectations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & SchedulingPrepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules in coordination with the project team.

• Ensure site activities are executed as per the project timeline, drawings, and specifications.
• Track progress, identify delays, and take corrective actions to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors for smooth workflow.

2. Material ManagementPrepare material requirement lists as per drawings and BOQs.

• Coordinate with the purchase and stores department for timely ordering and delivery of materials.
• Verify material quality and quantity received at site against approved specifications.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and utilization of materials to prevent wastage.

3. Quality Assurance & Site SupervisionConduct regular quality checks during execution to ensure work meets company and client standards.

• Monitor workmanship in carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and finishing works.
• Ensure proper installation techniques, alignment, and finishing are maintained.
• Maintain a snag-free site environment and follow up on rectifications.

4. Site Coordination & ExecutionSupervise and guide site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure productivity.

• Coordinate with consultants, designers, and clients for site inspections and approvals.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and statutory regulations on-site.
• Manage labour allocation and site discipline efficiently.

5. Reporting & DocumentationMaintain daily site progress reports, material consumption logs, and attendance records.

• Update management on project progress, material status, and any site issues.
• Assist in project handover, snag clearance, and documentation at completion stage.

Key Skills & Competencies Strong expertise in interior fit-out execution and finishing details.

• Excellent knowledge of project scheduling, material procurement, and quality control.
• Good leadership, team coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel / Project / AutoCAD preferred.
• Effective communication and client-handling ability.
