Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester with strong skills in manual testing and a good understanding of automation fundamentals. You will test web applications, internal tools, APIs, dashboards, and systems used in automation workflows. This role requires strong analytical ability, structured testing, and the curiosity to break things before customers do.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements and create clear test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, sanity, and UI testing.
• Execute manual tests for web platforms, dashboards, and internal tools.
• Test REST APIs using tools like Postman.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA or similar tools.
• Work closely with developers to understand features and reproduce issues.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure stable releases.
• Contribute to improving test coverage and QA processes.
• Basic involvement in automation (optional but preferred).

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and QA methodologies.
• Ability to write detailed test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports.
• Experience in manual testing of web apps and dashboards.
• Good knowledge of API testing (Postman preferred).
• Working knowledge of SQL for basic data validation.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA/ClickUp/Trello).
• Understanding of basic automation concepts (Selenium/Playwright is a plus).
• Excellent analytical thinking, documentation skills, and attention to detail.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python/Java/JavaScript).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to performance testing (JMeter).
• Experience testing integrations between software + hardware systems.
