Solar Technician

Location: Bangalore

Reports To: SolarCare Supervisor / Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Solar Panel Cleaning & Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and basic upkeep of installed solar panels to ensure optimal system performance. The role involves regular site visits, panel cleaning, visual inspections, and reporting any issues observed at customer sites.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPerform regular cleaning of solar panels at customer sites to maintain optimal energy generation.
• Use appropriate cleaning tools, water, and safety equipment to clean panels without causing damage.
• Conduct basic visual inspection of solar panels, wiring, and mounting structures during cleaning.
• Identify and report damaged panels, loose cables, or any system abnormalities to the SolarCare team.
• Ensure safe handling of tools and equipment while working at heights or rooftops.
• Maintain cleaning schedules as per assigned service contracts.
• Submit service reports and site photos after completion of work.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines during all maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with the SolarCare team for customer service requests.
• Required QualificationsBasic education (10th / 12th / ITI preferred).
• Experience in solar panel cleaning, electrical helper work, or field maintenance is an advantage.
• Physically fit and comfortable working on rooftops and heights.
• Willingness to travel to different customer sites.
