Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials as per purchase orders and delivery challans
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials
- Maintain accurate stock records (GRN, issue slips, bin cards, stock registers)
- Issue materials to production or departments as per authorized requests
- Monitor minimum stock levels and coordinate with Purchase for timely replenishment
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure FIFO / FEFO practices wherever applicable
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the store area
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Accounts departments
- Handle material returns, rejections, and scrap as per company policy
- Support audits and provide required documentation
