Store Manager

The Store Manager is responsible for overall showroom operations, including sales performance, staff supervision, inventory control, and customer satisfaction. The role ensures smooth daily functioning and achievement of revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day showroom activities
• Ensure store cleanliness, display standards, and visual merchandising
• Maintain smooth opening & closing procedures

2. Sales & Revenue Growth

• Drive sales targets and maximize revenue
• Monitor staff performance and motivate team
• Implement upselling and cross-selling strategies
• (Retail staff in the store focus heavily on customer interaction and closing sales )

3. Team Management

• Supervise sales executives, helpers, and cashier
• Assign duties and create shift schedules
• Train staff on product knowledge (sarees, fabrics, pricing)

4. Customer Service

• Ensure excellent customer experience in-store
• Handle escalations, complaints, and returns
• Build long-term customer relationships

5. Inventory & Stock Control

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment
• Conduct stock audits and prevent shortages
• Work with inventory team for stock transfers
• (Inventory roles include stock tracking, audits, and supplier coordination )

6. Billing & Cash Handling Oversight

• Supervise billing process and cash handling
• Ensure accuracy in transactions and daily closing
• (Cash handling and POS operations are key retail responsibilities )

7. Reporting & Administration

• Prepare daily/weekly sales reports
• Track KPIs like footfall, conversion rate, and revenue
• Coordinate with management for promotions and offers

🔹 Required Skills

• Strong leadership and team handling
• Retail sales expertise (preferably saree)
• Customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer/POS knowledge
• Inventory and stock management understanding

🔹 Qualifications

• Graduate preferred
• 3–6+ years in retail (Assistant Manager / Store Manager role)
• Experience in fashion / saree showroom is a big advantage

🔹 Typical Working Condition

• 10 AM – 9 PM retail shifts
