Job Description
ob Title: EMS Store ExecutiveRole OverviewThe EMS Store Executive will be responsible for managing electronic components, maintaining store operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, and supporting production through timely kitting and material issuance. The role requires strong knowledge of electronic components, hands-on experience in EMS/Manufacturing stores, and a disciplined approach to 5S, Kaizen, and operational KPIs.
- Key Responsibilities1. Store & Inventory ManagementManage receipt, storage, and issuance of all electronic components and raw materials.
- Maintain accurate stock levels using ERP/Tally/Inventory tools.
- Perform daily/weekly cycle counts and support monthly physical stock audits.
- Track shortages, excess, and non-moving items; highlight risks proactively.
- Ensure adherence to FIFO/FEFO and proper storage conditions for sensitive components (ESD, moisture-sensitive, etc.).
- 2. Kitting & Production SupportPrepare kits based on BOM and production plans without errors.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, and EMS teams for material readiness.
- Maintain traceability of components and batch-wise movement.
- Ensure timely replenishment of consumables and fast-moving items.
- 3. Store Maintenance & ComplianceImplement and maintain 5S standards within the store.
- Ensure ESD compliance, bin labeling, rack segregation, and material identification.
- Maintain proper documentation for inward, outward, returns, and rejections.
- 4. Operational Excellence & ReportingTrack key KPIs: inventory accuracy, issuance lead time, shrinkage, kit completion rate, etc.
- Identify and drive Kaizen and process improvement initiatives.
- Generate daily/weekly MIS reports and highlight issues to management.
- 5. Cross-Functional CoordinationWork with Procurement for GRN issues, vendor returns, and shortages.
- Support Quality team in IQC and ensure NC materials are segregated.
- Coordinate with EMS team for material allocation and consumption.
- Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in EMS/Manufacturing Store operations.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components (resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors, PCBA parts, etc.).
- Experience in Inventory Management, Kitting, Stock control, and Material traceability.
- Electronic/Electrical educational background preferred (ITI/Diploma/B.E.).
- Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, and Operational KPIs.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP/Tally, and standard store documentation.
- Strong communication, discipline, and attention to detail.
- Additional RequirementsAbility to work in a fast-paced EMS/Manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of ESD handling procedures.
- Willingness to take ownership of material accuracy and operational performance.
