We are looking for an experienced Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting STP systems. This role involves monitoring plant processes, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and optimizing plant efficiency.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

✅ Monitor & Operate STP equipment, pumps, aerators, blowers, and other plant components.

✅ Conduct routine checks to ensure proper functioning of the treatment process.

✅ Measure & Record key water quality parameters such as BOD, COD, TSS, pH, DO and maintain accurate logs.

✅ Perform basic maintenance & troubleshooting of mechanical & electrical components.

✅ Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards as per local regulations.

✅ Optimize treatment efficiency by adjusting chemical dosing and aeration processes.

✅ Coordinate with supervisors & technical teams for any major repairs or upgrades.

✅ Handle emergency situations such as equipment failure or water quality deviations.

✅ Maintain cleanliness & hygiene at the STP premises.

🎯 Requirements:

🔹 Minimum 2 years of experience in STP operation & maintenance.

🔹 Familiarity with biological treatment processes, aeration, clarifiers, and sludge management.

🔹 Basic knowledge of electrical & mechanical troubleshooting.

🔹 Ability to read and interpret STP process flow diagrams & control panels.

🔹 Understanding of safety protocols and environmental compliance.

🔹 Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergencies.

🔹 Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, or relevant field preferred.
