Structural Design Engineer

The Structural Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of building structures and infrastructure projects. This role ensures that all designs are safe, sustainable, and compliant with relevant codes and standards while optimizing materials and costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and analyze structural components such as beams, columns, slabs, foundations, and frames.

Prepare detailed structural drawings, design calculations, and specifications.

Review and interpret architectural and mechanical drawings to ensure design compatibility.

Perform load calculations and simulations using structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD).

Collaborate with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure design intent and execution accuracy.

Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications.

Identify and resolve structural design or construction issues.

Prepare technical reports, BOQs, and documentation for approval and submission.

Ensure designs adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.

Assist in value engineering and project cost optimization.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of structural design principles and construction materials.

Proficiency in design and drafting software
