Job Title: Structural Draughtsman

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Structural Draughtsman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed structural drawings and models for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural drafting, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. Prepare detailed structural drawings and models using Autodesk AutoCAD.

2. Develop and maintain accurate and detailed drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.

3. Collaborate with structural engineers and other team members to ensure that drawings accurately reflect design intent.

4. Conduct site visits to gather information and verify existing conditions.

5. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

6. Participate in quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.

7. Maintain organized and accurate records of drawings, models, and other project documents.

*Requirements:*

1. Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in structural drafting, preferably in a consulting engineering or construction environment.

3. Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD.

4. Strong technical skills, including knowledge of structural systems, materials, and building codes.

5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.

7. Strong attention to detail and quality control.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

1. Experience with 3D modeling and Building Information Modeling (BIM).

2. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

3. Certification in Autodesk AutoCAD or Revit.

4. Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
