Experience: 3+ Years in Aviation / Aerospace SCM

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (MBA–Supply Chain preferred)

🌐 Role Overview

We are strengthening our aviation supply chain team and seeking a highly capable SCM Professional with strong experience in aerospace procurement, supplier management, and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for professionals who can thrive in a fast‑paced, highly regulated aviation environment and contribute to delivering world‑class aerospace components and systems.

You will be responsible for managing the sourcing, procurement, vendor performance, logistics, and traceability processes that ensure seamless operations within our AS9100‑D certified aerospace manufacturing ecosystem.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Procurement & Sourcing:
• Manage sourcing and procurement of aviation‑grade raw materials, components, tooling, and special‑process items required for aircraft and UAV programs.
• Outsourcing of required engineering parts:
• The candidate should be able to manage procurement of outsourced engineering components.

• Engineering knowledge requirement:
• The candidate must have a basic understanding of engineering, including the ability to read engineering drawings, perform cost‑engineering reviews, and forecast project material requirements.
• Supplier Evaluation & Performance:
• Develop, evaluate, and monitor supplier performance based on Quality, On‑Time Delivery (OTD), and Cost efficiency.
• Aviation Compliance (AS9100/AS9120):
• Ensure all supply chain activities comply with aerospace quality and regulatory standards, including supplier qualification and process adherence.
• Traceability & Documentation:
• Maintain complete airworthiness documentation, batch traceability, CoC/CoA validation, and ensure procurement records meet audit requirements.
• Regulatory Framework Coordination:
• Work in alignment with aviation regulatory bodies including:
• FAA (Federal Aviation Administration)
• EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency)
• DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation)
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
• Coordinate seamlessly with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Planning teams to ensure material readiness and supply continuity.
• Logistics & Inventory Control:
• Oversee logistics, inbound/outbound shipments, bonded material handling, and inventory accuracy.

🔧 Preferred Skills

• Strong vendor management, negotiation, and supplier development skills
• Solid understanding of aviation procurement standards, documentation & traceability
• Experience with ERP systems
• Good knowledge of import/export processes, HS codes, and aerospace material specifications
• Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination abilities
