Team Leader – Quick Commerce Operations

Job Summary

The Team Leader – Quick Commerce is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of dark stores or fulfillment centers, ensuring efficient order processing, inventory accuracy, and timely delivery. The role involves supervising associates, maintaining service quality, and improving operational efficiency in a fast-paced quick commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

Oversee end-to-end order fulfillment including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch.

Ensure orders are processed within SLA timelines.

Monitor stock availability and maintain inventory accuracy.

Optimize store layout and picking routes to improve efficiency.

2. Team Management

Supervise and lead store associates / warehouse staff.

Train new employees and ensure adherence to SOPs.

Track productivity and maintain performance standards.

Ensure workplace safety and employee engagement.

3. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Track key metrics such as:

Order accuracy

Fulfillment time

Inventory turnover

Delivery success rate

Prepare daily/weekly operational reports.

Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.

4. Quality & Compliance

Ensure proper storage conditions and product quality.

Monitor expiry tracking and FIFO inventory management.

Maintain hygiene and compliance with food safety standards.

5. Process Improvement

Identify inefficiencies and implement operational improvements.

Reduce operational costs while maintaining service levels.

Work with tech/product teams to enhance systems and automation.

Required Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

1–4 years experience in:

Quick commerce

Warehousing

E-commerce operations

Logistics or retail operations.
