Technical Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:

Sales engineers are the bridge between the company and the customer. Their basic role is to understand the customers pain points and find technical solutions within the basket of products to help the customer. Their responsibilities include: 

·      Generating new business and repeat business from prospective and current customers.

·      Generate new leads and drive business forward

·      To increase customer base in allocated territory and drive business in said territory

• Understanding customer needs
• Sales engineers analyze customer needs and requirements, and recommend technology products based on that understanding. 
• Making technical presentations
• Sales engineers prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers and prospective customers. They showcase the product's key features and benefits, and address customer concerns. 
• Sales engineers negotiate and close sales by agreeing on terms and conditions. They also negotiate tender and contract terms. 
• Sales engineers develop and maintain relationships with key customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. 
• Sales engineers collaborate with sales teams to provide feedback, ideas, and strategies. 
• Helping design custom-made products
• Bet the liaison between the customer and after sales team.

Sales engineers need strong communication and listening skills, and helps to know more than one language.
