Job Description
Sales & Business Development
•
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned region.
•
Identify new prospects, generate leads, and convert them into profitable business.
•
Conduct product presentations, commercial negotiations, and closure of sales independently.
•
Explore opportunities in OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and end users.
•
Promote Avcon’s product portfolio including valves, actuators, and automation solutions.
2. Customer Relationship Management
•
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
•
Conduct regular customer visits, provide technical support in coordination with the internal team.
•
Ensure timely resolution of customer queries, complaints, and after-sales requirements.
3. Regional Market Management
•
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs specific to Eastern India.
•
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to increase market share.
•
Manage pricing, quotations, proposals, and commercial documentation for the region.
•
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings within the region.
4. Coordination & Reporting
•
Work closely with the HO Sales, Technical, and Operations teams for order processing, delivery, and support.
•
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions.
•
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
Required Qualifications & Experience
•
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Instrumentation).
•
5 - 8 years of experience in Industrial Sales, preferably in valves, actuators, process control, or automation products.
•
Strong understanding of industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power, Steel, Chemicals, Water, and OEMs.
•
Proven ability to independently manage a territory and deliver results.
Skills & Competencies
•
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
•
Technical aptitude and ability to explain industrial products.
•
Self-driven, disciplined, and comfortable working independently.
•
Relationship-building and customer service orientation.
