Job Description

Job Title: Telecaller – Loan Recovery (NBFC)

Department: Collections / Recovery

Location: Bommanahalli -Begur

Employment Type: Full-time / Contract



Job Summary:

We are looking for a result-oriented Loan Recovery Telecaller to manage overdue loan accounts for our NBFC. The role involves contacting customers, reminding them of pending dues, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring timely recovery while maintaining professionalism and compliance with regulatory guidelines.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to customers with overdue loans and remind them of payment obligations.
  • Explain outstanding amounts, due dates, and consequences of non-payment in a courteous and firm manner.
  • Negotiate repayment schedules and collect commitments from customers.
  • Maintain detailed records of calls, payment promises, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with the field recovery team for escalated cases.
  • Ensure recovery targets are met on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Maintain compliance with RBI/NBFC guidelines and avoid any use of abusive or threatening language.
  • Handle inbound calls from customers regarding payment queries or settlement options.



Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum 12th pass; Graduation preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years in loan recovery, collections, or telecalling (NBFC/BFSI preferred).
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and CRM usage.
  • Target-driven and persistent.
  • Languages: Kannada Hindi and English mandatory; regional languages an advantage.
