Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management


Supervise, train, and motivate a team of education counsellors to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.


Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to ensure consistent results.


Create and monitor KPIs for each team member, ensuring accountability and growth.


Develop sales and counselling strategies to maximize conversions and student satisfaction.


Student Counselling


Guide students and parents on course selection, eligibility, admission process, and career outcomes.


Understand student goals, preferences, and financial background to suggest suitable academic programs.


Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain conversion ratios from inquiry to admission.


Operations & Reporting


Maintain accurate reports on student inquiries, applications, and admissions.


Coordinate with marketing, operations, and academic teams for smooth admissions workflow.


Analyze market trends and provide insights to improve lead quality and conversion rates.


Ensure compliance with company policies and data confidentiality norms.


Performance & Business Growth


Meet and exceed individual and team admission targets.


Implement creative counselling and sales techniques to boost enrolments.


Build and maintain relationships with students, parents, and partner institutions.


Key Skills & Competencies:


Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.


Leadership and team management ability.


Sales-driven mindset with customer-centric approach.


Problem-solving and decision-making skills.


Good knowledge of education industry trends (domestic and international preferred).


Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.


Qualifications & Experience:


Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Business Administration, or related field.


2–4 years of experience in counselling/admissions; minimum 1 year in a team leader or senior counsellor role.


Experience in EdTech, Overseas Education, or Career Counselling is preferred.


Salary Range:


As per industry standards + incentives based on performance.
