Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Territory Sales Executive to manage both Modern Trade (MT) and General Trade (GT) channels. The role involves driving sales, expanding market reach, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring visibility and availability of products within the assigned territory.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Revenue Growth Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for MT & GT channels.

  • Drive product availability, visibility, and placement in stores.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the territory.

2. Territory Management Cover assigned routes effectively for GT stores.

  • Handle MT chain stores, key accounts, and coordinate for order booking, delivery & returns.
  • Ensure regular market visits for monitoring competitor activities and schemes.

3. Distributor & Retailer Management (GT)Manage primary & secondary sales via distributors.

  • Ensure adequate stock levels, timely replenishment, and proper stock rotation.
  • Build strong relations with retailers and resolve market issues on priority.

4. Modern Trade Operations (MT)Coordinate with MT chain managers and supervisors for promotions, product listings, and planograms.

  • Handle merchandising, visibility elements, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor store-level performance and ensure timely execution of offers.

5. Merchandising & Branding Ensure POS materials, displays, and branding activities are executed as per guidelines.

  • Maintain hygiene, visibility, and shelf discipline across outlets.

6. Reporting & Documentation Submit daily/weekly sales reports, market feedback, and beat plans.

  • Track sales data, scheme utilization, retailer claims, and competitor movement.
  • 7. Customer Relationship Management Maintain healthy professional relationships with distributors, retail owners, store managers, and merchandisers.
  • Address complaints promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
