Job Description
Position Title: Training Specialist
Department: Training
Line Reporting Channel: Through Human Resources & Training Manager
Responsibilities:
Develop and Design Trainings, Deliver Trainings, Assess Trainings, Reporting
- Training Team will collect the training material from the PD team
- Training Need Analysis (TNA) – Interact with stakeholders within the company (distributors, if required) to understand specific need for Trainings
- Trainings could be on – Products, Process Related, Behaviour Modification or Skill Development, or any other subject as required by the Management
- Decide on delivery mode – Face to face or Digital (Webinar, web conference, telecom, or any other mutually agreeable medium)
- Develop training modules including (but not limited to) Presentations (with trainer notes), Faculty guides with stipulated time of delivery including games, activities, handouts (if any)
- Constantly upgrade the modules for training based on change in the need, addition of new product, new information available
- Get certified to be eligible to build training modules and conduct the training sessions
-Audit 10 calls every day to identify the issues and provide relevant training.
- Need to maintain Excel sheet with feedback.
Deliver Training programs (Facilitation)
- Ensure all training logistics are in place beforehand including (but not limited to) Laptop, Projector, training room, communication to audience about the training (web conference invite) audio and video connection, presentation flow etc.
- Deliver Trainings to audience as per the planned calendar and mode of training using the approved modules after being duly certified.
- Modify facilitation methods based on feedback received and after measuring effectiveness of training delivery through formal/informal interaction with internal/external stakeholders
Assess Trainings
- Develop a Feedback mechanism for formal and informal feedback on trainings conducted
- Customise/change the feedback form on basis of feedback obtained from stakeholders
- Develop a mechanism to measure the impact of training on sales in short and long term as
agreed by all stakeholders (measure return of investment (ROI))
Reporting
- Formal and informal reporting to Training Manager through mail/telephone/web conference on the trainings conducted in the format approved for the same and at a frequency agreed upon
- Apprise the Training Manager on any challenges encountered with probable solutions
- Daily and weekly reporting must be submitted within timelines and accurately
Desired Skill Sets for the Job
- Excellent communication skills in English and Vernacular language
- Adept at independently developing Training modules
- Good computer skills including (but not limited to) MS office
- Excellent interpersonal and people skills
- Ability to work and coordinate with diverse teams
- Adaptability and Flexibility
- Ability to travel at short notice (as per approved mode of travel)
- Maintain full confidentiality and Integrity of information being shared formally and informally with Trainer
