About the Role:

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer who can own the end-to-end user experience across our app and digital platforms. This role sits at the intersection of design, product, tech, and growth, shaping how customers discover, buy, and trust fresh food on Origin.

You’ll design experiences that are simple, intuitive, and conversion-focused, while keeping the brand’s warmth and farm-to-home story intact.

• Responsibilities:Own UI/UX design for Origin’s customer app and web platforms. 
• Translate business goals, user needs, and product requirements into clear user journeys and wireframes
• Design high-fidelity UI screens, components, and design systems aligned with Origin’s brand
• Improve conversion, retention, and ease of use across key flows (browse, order, checkout, subscriptions)
• Conduct basic user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Ops teams
• Ensure consistency across touchpoints while allowing flexibility for experiments and growth
• Continuously iterate based on data, feedback, and on-ground realities of a fresh-delivery business
• Requirements: 2–5 years of experience in UI/UX design (startup, D2C, or consumer app experience preferred)
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centric thinking and clean visual design
• Proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar
• Solid understanding of mobile-first design and design systems
• Ability to balance aesthetics with usability and business outcomes
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain design decisions clearly
