Job Description
- Key Responsibilities: Operate commercial vehicles (e.g., trucks, pickup vans, or tow vehicles) safely and responsibly.
- Ensure timely delivery or movement of vehicles/materials as per assigned routes or instructions.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle at all times.
- Report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, and mileage reports.
- Follow all traffic rules, safety standards, and company driving policies.
- Assist in loading/unloading goods or vehicles when required.
- Ensure proper documentation such as RC, insurance, and permits are valid and up to date.
- Support company operations by being punctual, disciplined, and professional.
- Skills Required:
- Safe and responsible driving habits.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned routes efficiently.
- Physically fit and alert while driving.
- Work Conditions:
- Work involves local and outstation travel as per company requirement.
- Flexible working hours including weekends or holidays when required.
