Vendor Development

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vendor Development executive to

oversee procurement, new vendor development and management, and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate

will have experience in vendor development, purchasing, inventory coordination, and order fulfillment, ensuring

seamless supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Purchase Management:

- Identify and evaluate suppliers to procure goods and services at optimal quality and cost.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms while ensuring compliance with company policies.

- Prepare and process purchase orders, monitor approvals, and track order fulfillment.

- Ensure timely delivery of materials, maintaining quality and inventory standards.

Vendor Management:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.

- Address vendor-related disputes and ensure performance evaluations.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and service levels.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:

- Monitor stock levels and align purchases with business needs to prevent shortages or

excess inventory.

- Collaborate with production and inventory teams for efficient material planning.

Dispatch & Logistics Coordination:

- Plan and execute timely dispatch of goods to customers and internal locations.

- Work closely with transport and logistics providers for efficient and cost-effective

delivery.

- Ensure accurate documentation, including invoices, delivery challans, and shipping

records.

Customer & Vendor Communication:

- Manage communication with customers regarding delivery timelines and order status.

- Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders.

Compliance & Documentation:

- Ensure all procurement, dispatch, and logistics activities comply with company policies

and regulatory standards.

- Maintain comprehensive records for procurement, vendor agreements, and dispatch

logistics.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or

a related field.

- Strong understanding of Advanced Plastics, Elastomers, and Metal Sourcing.

- Knowledge of INCOTERMS and experience in Imports and Exports.

- 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchase, and logistics management.

- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (Tally / Tranzact).

- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and logistics coordination skills.

- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
